Gaku, a high school baseball player who attends a prestigious local baseball school, faces the injustice of society for the first time, and while suffering from unreasonable treatment and emotional outbursts, he comes to confront his own weaknesses.
However, after hearing the words of his homeroom teacher, Mr. Kirishima, and reuniting with his childhood friend, Takashi, memories of the days when he innocently played in the great outdoors begin to save him.
As the seasons change, Take's heart also gradually changes and heals.
The film is directed by the up-and-coming director Ijichi Takuro, the first Japanese person to graduate from the Beijing Film Academy's Department of Directing.
His perspective, which focuses on the search for spiritual happiness, quietly and sharply portrays the inner lives of his characters.
The producer is Ogawa Natsuka, who is also active as an actress. She teamed up with Ijichi to secure Asia's only sponsorship with equipment manufacturer ARRI. The film delivers stunning visual beauty throughout.
The cast is made up of authentic actors, all of whom have baseball experience.
The lead role was played by Fuchigami Takeru, who is making his film debut.
The narration is provided by Izumisawa Yuki, who has appeared in numerous popular works including "Masquerade Hotel."
In addition, Matsumoto Hiroki, a former member of the Kagoshima Commercial High School baseball team and currently active as an enka singer, gives a passionate performance as the baseball team's coach.
